ALUJET MD is a strong, highly permeable 4-layer roof membrane consisting of a permeable fleece/foil compound. This specialized roof membrane is designed specifically for use with metal roofing systems. The textured polypropylene design provides excellent separation between metal roofing and the underlying structure while maintaining high vapor permeability. Its durable construction ensures long-lasting performance even under full wooden decking installations.
Application area
The textured polypropylene roof membrane is suitable for applications underneath metal covers for sheathed roofs with or without heavy-duty roof insulation. It creates an effective barrier between metal roofing (including standing seam profiles) and underlying structures, preventing potential damage from moisture or metal-to-metal contact.
